Siegenfeld, Alfred Ritter Anthony von.
Das Landeswappen der Steiremark.
Graz, Verlags-Buchhandlung Styria, 1900.*
* Siegenfeld's entry: Tafel 20 - 59. - 1398 - Wappen des Erasmus von Berned nach dem Drig. im Bruderßchaßtsbuche Sti. Chrißtophori am Urlberg, handßchrift 473 des 1. und 1. haus=, hoß= und Staatsarchivs, fol. 79. - Zu S. 213.

Dated to 1398, published in Siegenfeld's book in 1900, the arms representing the arms of the Counts of Peilstein, in particular, the Berneds, with their estates in the Salzburg territory. The illustration of the heraldic panther is more obvious and supports the black panther on a white field than the earlier earlier arms illustrated for Herren von Berned.
