Siegenfeld, Alfred Ritter Anthony von.
Das Landeswappen der Steiremark.
Graz, Verlags-Buchhandlung Styria, 1900.*
* Siegenfeld's entry: Tafel 35. 79. - 1483: b. Wappen der Herren von Loßenßtein zu Zelfing. - Zu S. 114, Unm. 3, S. 124 und 211.
Nach derßelben Duelle, fol. CIII.

Originally drawn in 1483, published in Siegenfeld's book in 1900, the arms depict those of Herren von Loßenßtein as part of a separate branch of the family known as the Princes of Starhemberg.

The heraldic beast, possibly a panther, is rendered in a most unusual manner as its hind legs are illustrated with cloven hooves.
