Arms rendered by Janez Vajkard Valvasor, "Opus Insignium Armorumque"
The arms appear in Valvasor's Opus Insignium Armorumque labelled as "Windischmarch Vindorum marcha" or Slovenska Marka. Slovenska Marka refers to the southern part of the Dolenjska region, however, it differs from the heraldically correct rendering of its coat of arms found in the seal of Duke Rudolf IV, 1358*.
